She's divine.

Hi guys! Today I’d like to talk about a woman who I like so much and who inspires me sometimes. She has been an icon in the world of fashion and also an admirable person, form my point of view, obviously.

She’s AUDREY HEPBURN.

She borned in 1929 and she died in 1993.
She began her carrer as an actress and she gained an Oscar. She has been told to be the first “anti-diva”, but she has always had an affectionate image and also her look smart. He has set her fashion and she has created her own. She is also known to be dancer, model, and because has has done several tasks related to human rights. She collaborated with UNICEF.

I think that she a role model.

Halloween

The day of the dead was last Friday. Did you scare anybody?

When you are a kid you see this day as a happy day when you can get sweets and candies from your neighbours and you get dressed as a witch, vampire or something related to Halloween.
Then when you grow up is when you realise why you’re celebration that day. You do it in order to remember your dead relatives. You think of them and, as the most of people do, you go to the cemetery to bring them flowers and so on.
It doesn’t have to be a sad day, not always. Then is when you have to appreciate people who still are around you.

Now, I’d like to talk about the celebration: Pumpkins, candles, cobwebs, sweets, black cats, witches, spirits… and this type of things is what comes to my head and I think about Halloween.

And here I tell you a question that I hope I can get some answer: Do you really think that spirits come to the earth just this night? Have you ever experienced something that scared you? I want to know that type of stories.
Come on! Let's share experiencies.

P.S: This blog is from a Spanish student trying to get a good level of English. If you find some mistake please don’t bear it in mind. Thank you.

The Notebook

This is one of my favourites films. In Spain they translated as "El Diario de Noa". I'm sure that most of you have seen it or, at least, have heard about it.

This film is lively in 40's or 50's more or less. It plot is about a couple who met for the first time in a little town during the summer. They spend a wonderful days together and at the end of the summer girl's parents don't want their daughter to see her boyfriend anymore as they have some money and this boy is a bite poor.
Allie, the girl in love, go away from Noah (the boy) and she's angry with her parents for years.
7 years later they met once again with their lives completely changed.

This film is about the true love, how it works, how it can be broke and about hope*

I recommend you "The Notebook" if you're looking for a good film. It'll make you cry.

There's some quotes from the film to convince you if you're not already:

"I am no one special, just a common man with common thoughts. I've led a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to me, and my name will soon be forgotten. But in one respect, I've succeeded as gloriously as anyone who ever lived. I've loved another with all my heart and soul, and for me, that has always been enough."

"She had come back into his life like a sudden flame, blazing and streaming into his heart. Noah stayed up all night contemplating the certain agony he knew would be his if he were to lose her twice."
"It's not gonna be easy. It's gonna be really hard. But we're gonna have to work at this every day, but I wanna do that... because I want you. All of you... forever"

Do you feel like watching it?

That's me!

Well, I'll introduce myself but I'll tell you just a few things about me.

I'm a happy person and I try to don't deprees me easily. I also like to talk a lot. I always have something to say and sometimes my realtives have to shut up me.
My favourite type of music is pop and pop-rock in English. But there are some Spanish bands that I like but no much.
I city to visit, form my point of view, is London. I've been there a long time ago and I think that it's a cosmopolitan city were you can find anything. In my life plans appears to live in London for some time. Stay there, live with British people, know them... Moreover, most of the bands that I like are from this city, so there's another reason to go there!

Stand strong

Sorry, I haven’t introduced myself yet. I’ll do it someday but not today.
On this post I want to talk about another thing.

How do you feel when you are down?
On people’s life everything can’t be good, and go right. Sometimes you can have PROBLEMS which you can’t overcome. What can you do? You just need help from the others, from the people around you. Maybe a mother, a sister, a close friend, or even a person who you have met recently. Whoever can talk to you, tell you solutions for your problems, give a true hug… anything that can comfort you.

A situation like this has happened to me recently. At first I didn’t know how to act and I didn’t know what to do. Then, I thought about the problem and I tried to help her. We talk about it and we found a solution.
Sometimes there are things in your life which you give too importance. Then something happens and that importance is less than then. Why can it happen?

Life is life and we have to get it just as it comes.

Maybe, as Meredith Gray says, we have to keep believing in something.

Talking about...

SEASONS.

Which is your favourite season of the year?
Maybe you think that every season has their advantages and disadvantages and that's why you cannot choose one of them.
On summer we can go to the beach and sunbathe, and also we have more hours of sun. On spring we begin to wear t-shirts and there are flowers all around us. On autumn leaves begin to fall and we have to wear pullovers. And on winter we have to wear wool cap and scarf and we have cold in the morning.

As it's my blog I'll tell you my favourite season. Do you guess?
It's winter and the reason why it's because on 24th December is Christmas day. It's my favourite day of the year and I like to celebrated with my family. I think it's a magical day.

We have to find our own voice
